Lake Knowles

admin on May 11, 2017

This home, built by Rob Smith at E2 Homes and designed by Michael WenrichArchitects, is a study in simplicity.

Board-formed concrete and soft pine walls and ceilings are the primary design elements here. To highlight the architectural beauty of these features, Storch Entertainment installed and programmed a Lutron lighting system

With the push of a button from a wall-mounted keypad (or mobile app), the lights throughout the interior and exterior can be sent to a preset that highlights the entire home. Additionally, a timeclock feature makes sure the exterior of the home always looks its best.

A system designed for your ease

The large windows in the front of the home, overlooking Lake Knowles, feature motorized shades, both sheer and blackout, to allow the owners the option of light filtering or complete darkness and privacy.

An era of wonderful home security.

In addition to the lighting and shading, Storch installed a Sonos-based whole home music system (inside the home and on the front terrace and rear pool area), a powerful and reliable wi-fi/data system and a simple-to-use family room entertainment system that includes a 65 inch television with a custom-width sound-bar to complete the simple, yet elegant, visual aesthetic of the home.
